Our Core Service
Kitchen Respraying in North Yorkshire
A tired kitchen doesn't always need ripping out. Respraying gives you a completely new kitchen, in any colour, for a fraction of the cost of replacement.
The Case For Respraying
Why Respray Instead of Replace
Replacing a kitchen means new carcasses, a fitter, a joiner, and days of upheaval. Respraying keeps your existing layout, worktops and appliances, and changes only what needs changing: the colour and finish of your doors, drawer fronts and end panels. It typically costs a fraction of a full replacement, and because the doors come off site to our workshop, there’s far less disruption to your home while the work is happening.

Choose Your Colour
We have hundreds of colours to choose from. We work with colour companies such as Farrow & Ball, RAL and British Standard, or replicate a specific colour you already have in mind. There's no rush with choosing your colour, we'll only need to know a few days before your booking date.
Preparation
Around 90% of our work is preparation. We pride ourselves on completing the perfect job and this is how we achieve that perfection. Preparation times can vary from job to job, and it can take up to ten days to complete a full kitchen, with most of the work carried out in our private workshop.
Let the Spraying Commence
Once the area has been fully prepped and taped up, we're good to go. We spray the surface with around four to five fine coats to make the paint strong, flexible and durable.
Enjoy Your New Colour
Once we've removed the masking and refitted the doors and handles, we're all done. Just sit back and enjoy your transformation.
Why It Takes Ten Days
The Part You Don’t See
Every door and drawer front is cleaned and degreased to strip away years of cooking grease and household grime, since paint applied over grease will never hold properly. Surfaces are sanded and keyed so the new coating has something to grip onto, filled and sanded again where there are dents, chips or old handle holes, and given a suitable primer or sealer depending on the material. Only once all of that is done and checked does anything go near a spray gun. Skip any of these steps to hit a shorter turnaround, and the finish will let you down within a year or two. We’d rather take the ten days and get it right once.
Colours & Finishes
Endless Colour Possibilities
We can match colours from Farrow & Ball, RAL and British Standard ranges, replicate a colour you already own, or help you choose something new from hundreds of options. Matt, satin and gloss finishes are all available.

New Handles? No Problem
We can take care of your handles as part of your respray project, making the whole process simple and hassle-free. When we remove your doors and drawer fronts, all existing handles come off ready for spraying. If you’ve already chosen new handles, we can refit them during installation, ensuring everything is aligned and finished to a high standard.
Want a completely different style? We can fill existing holes and precisely re-drill new ones to suit your chosen handles, giving you full flexibility in design with a clean, professional result.

Pricing
What It Costs
Every kitchen is different, so we don’t quote a flat price. What affects cost is the number of doors and drawer fronts, whether you’re spraying both sides or just the visible face, the colour and finish you choose, and how much preparation an existing surface needs. Send us photos or arrange a visit and we’ll give you a clear, no obligation quote, usually the same day.
